Spring Pool Commissioning and Opening
Built for homeowners reopening their pool between March and May. We remove, wash, and fold the winter debris cover, reconnect disconnected pipework, recommission the pump and heater, and shock dose the water. The pool is brought up to circulation speed safely after months of winter rest.

Cover Removal and Storage
We pump standing water off the winter cover, brush off debris, jet wash the fabric, and fold it away dry in your shed or garage.

System Reassembly
We reinstall winter plugs, refit pressure gauges, lubricate pump O-rings, and check all pipe unions for seasonal hairline cracks.

System Priming and Start-Up
We prime the filtration system, purge air from the pipe lines, and run the pump up to operating pressure.

Recovery Shock Dosing
We bring water chemistry up from winter dormancy with an oxidiser treatment to clear winter dampness and dormant spores.

When is the best time to book a spring opening?
April is ideal for outdoor pools so the water does not warm up under the dark winter cover and feed dormant algae.
Will the pool be ready to swim immediately after the visit?
The water requires 24 to 48 hours of continuous filtration and chemical settling after initial shock dosing before swimming.
What if a pipe or valve leaks when you turn it on?
We isolate the circuit immediately, point out the worn part or perished seal, and quote for the replacement before proceeding.
