Terms & Conditions
These terms govern all service bookings, regular maintenance contracts, and repair works provided by Stillwater Poolcraft to our residential customers.
1. Parties and Scope
These terms apply between Stillwater Poolcraft and the property owner or resident engaging our services. We provide residential swimming pool cleaning, chemical balancing, water testing, winterisation, commissioning, and plant room mechanical repairs. No physical goods or products are sold online.
2. Booking and Quotes
Service visits are booked via phone or our website enquiry form. All prices quoted verbally or in writing remain valid for 30 days. Bookings are confirmed when a mutual date is agreed. We reserve the right to decline work where equipment is unsafe or does not meet basic electrical safety guidelines.
3. Performance of Work and Access to Premises
The customer agrees to provide safe, unimpeded access to the pool area, water supply, electrical isolators, and plant room on the scheduled date. Pets must be kept indoors. If we cannot access the pool through locked gates or absent keys, our standard call-out fee applies.
4. Prices, Payment After Completion, and Invoices
Prices reflect our published rates or written estimates. Full payment is due upon completion of each visit unless a monthly account is agreed in writing. We accept cash on completion or bank transfer against our invoice. We do not accept card payments, card machines, or online checkout links.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule any visit without penalty by giving at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice, or abortive visits where access is not provided, may be billed a call-out charge of 45 pounds.
6. Liability, Insurance, and Complaints
Stillwater Poolcraft holds full public liability insurance up to two million pounds. We are not liable for pre-existing structural pool defects, underground plumbing leaks, degraded pool liners, or perishing equipment resulting from age. Any complaints regarding work quality must be reported in writing within 48 hours so we can inspect and rectify.
7. Governing Law
These terms and any contracts formed under them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
